About Northwest Missouri Outfitters LLC

Northwest Missouri Outfitters, LLC is a small, privately run business located in the northwest part of Missouri close to the Iowa border just outside Denver, MO. As a smaller operation, we're dedicated to each and every client and to making sure your hunting trip is the best it can be from the time you arrive at camp until you return home. We work full-time on our farms throughout the year to ensure our clients have the best odds at a good buck in the fall and/or opportunities for longbeards in the spring. We have a TEAM of very talented guides & staff that will work hard to make sure your time spent with NWMO is memorable.

Cody Blankenship, Owner/Outfitter/Land Manager/Guide

I grew up hunting as a young child with my father and brothers. The outdoors has always been a passion of mine and it's great to share that experience with so many wonderful people here at NWMO. There are no guarantees that I will be your personal guide or be there when you arrive as I am a hands-on owner taking care of everyday needs which are numerous during the peak hunting seasons. I will however, meet and speak with each of our clients at some point during their hunt. In the meantime, my team of staff/guides will be present and are guaranteed to meet your every need. We are grateful for your business and look forward to hosting each hunt camp family. DJ Hubbard, Ranch Foreman/Guide

Hey, my name is DJ Hubbard and I work as a guide for Northwest Missouri Outfitters. I live in Grant City, Missouri and have lived in the area all my life and have always had a love for the outdoors. Believe me, there is much to do here throughout the year. My goal as your guide is to give you the best opportunity for success on either a big buck or an old long beard and hope that enjoy your time while you are hunting with NWMO.

Jon Bruursema, Guide

Jon grew up hunting whitetails in the timber of Northern Michigan and began providing his guide services at "The Sanctuary Ranch" in Big Rapids. He began hunting with NWMO in 2018 and joined us as a guide in 2020. As the owner and President of his own company, Elite Concrete Solutions, LLC, Jon understands true customer service and satisfaction and brings that same passion each fall to his whitetail clients here at NWMO.

Zach Aungst, Guide/Social Media

I have been hunting since I was 14 years old chasing spring turkey’s and the majestic whitetail deer. Over the past 4 years I have fallen in love with the rolling hills and deep timber of Missouri, pushing my self to learn the entire layout of NWMO. I can truly say the system that we run here at NWMO is that of a top notch outfitter. We genuinly care about how your hunt is going and our whole team will do whatever it takes to get you on that turkey or whitetail of a lifetime.

Michael Caputo, Guide

Introduced to the outdoor world of fishing, deer, and wild turkey by his dad in the hills of Northwest Pennsylvania in the 1950’s and 60’s, Michael continues to share this outdoor passion by guiding clients of NWMO. Known around camp as the “Turkey Whisperer”, Michael (a retired Healthcare Executive) has been hunting the farms of NWMO since 2010 and guiding turkey and deer hunters since 2015. He is passionate about assuring that his clients enjoy each and every hunting experience and this Kentucky native will work hard to make it happen. He firmly believes and states that "You must be present to win"!

Andy McGee, Guide

Andy grew up hunting in South Arkansas. This Arkansas native has been an avid whitetail hunter for over 27 years. Several years ago Northwest Missouri took a piece of his heart, and he now enjoys seeing clients fulfill their dreams in harvesting their Trophy Whitetail each fall. As our chief in charge of education, Andy's introductory orientation training sessions get everyone pumped and off to the right start.

Levi Brower, Guide

I grew up in the Zeeland, MI outdoors. I have also spent many years hunting deer and turkeys in West Michigan. I’ve enjoyed guiding for Elk and Moose hunts in the Bridger Wilderness area of Wyoming's Wind River Range. Overall, I love hunting big bucks or wary gobblers and just being outdoors. I feel very fortunate to work with all the pros at NWMO in a field I am very passionate about.
